Carlos Restegui Greenough "Project Velo" board 5′ X 22"

This is a 2001 replica of George Greenough’s Velo model flexible spoon kneeboard, which was made in 1966. Over 100 hours of work in this board.

Some shots of Carlos’ spoon after it has been "finished." The color work is simply Krylon spray paint…a Greenough low-tech standby for decades!

After the paint has cured for a couple days, the board was wet sanded with a well-used piece of 320 W/D and soapy water. Just enough to prevent water from beading up.
